While I have come across people with other pain issues who have found some pain relief in Neurontin, for me it was a pretty bad case of medication sensitivity/intolerance. There was no relief from pain, and I experienced severe headaches and syncope (fainting) due to very low blood pressure. This was on the starting dosage. CSS with sensitivity to chemical fluctuations in the body does not mix well with this drug. The fact that I had high blood pressure at the time, and still ended up with very low blood pressure shows just how potent and dangerous this drug can be for people with CSS.
